If it's really that much better, I'm willing to accept that the ALSA module(s) should be the default, but not without asking at least in the Expert DrakX. Just surprising people with it is jumping the gun a bit, it's still not in the stable stock kernel. The reason I've used Mandrake for almost 3 years as opposed to other distros is it saves me work and time, it's always been very friendly to experts and newbies alike.
