I was just about to post similarly having managed to utterly wreck my connection and being obliged to urpme iptables and shorewall to allow me to connect to the Internet again! I have a _really_ bad feeling about this for new users. As there is very little time before 9.0 release, unless some sort of miracle can be wrought, I would prefer if it were dropped (!!) and something like firestarter* or guarddog** packaged instead. as these do what tinyfirewall does and more but with help, wizards and so on. As I see it, tinyfirewall is trying to reinvent the wheel ... Alastair * http://firestarter.sourceforge.net/ ** http://www.simonzone.com/software/guarddog/
