The tinyfirewall was, at least until recently, a simplied graphical frontend to Bastille (a shell script). We have been used this script also for our MandrakeSecurity product. Bastille is very limited (it doesn't support DMZ and the developpement team is really not an active one) so we have chosen something much more powerful : Shorewall (shorewall.net), which is also a series of shell scripts. In order to have something similar to the previous configurations, we have adpated tinyfirewall and drakgw to Shorewall. This is only the begining ... A more complex tool will be added in the future. cheers, -- Florin http://www.mandrakesoft.com http://people.mandrakesoft.com/~florin/
