Would you be so kind as to provide you're shell script for those of us who
aren't quite so knowledgeable? I've been trying since beta2 to get my
WPC11v3 working and it's driving me crazy.

Thanks,
Brian

Subject: Re: [Cooker] Linksys WPC11 Version 3

Hi,

Works great with the iwconfig and the hermes.conf file. I had to add
the the following to:

wireless.opts------------------------------------------------
# Activate with "cardctl scheme linksys"

# Pick up any Access Point, should work on most 802.11 cards
linksys,*,*,*)
    INFO="Home Wireless"
    ESSID="linksys"
    ;;

# Linksys WPC11 v3
*,*,*,A9:47:99:*)
    INFO="Linksys WPC11 v3"
    ESSID="linksys"
    RATE="11M auto"
    ;;

hermes.conf---------------------------------------------

card "Linksys WPC11 v3"
  manfid 0x0274, 0x1613
  bind "orinoco_cs"

I use a shell script to activate the card and set my 128 key. Should be
easier than this, it seems mandrake is ignoring the problem.
