<snip bunch of stuff I already knew> Thanks, but I was perfectly well aware of all this, and i've previously mentioned that Mandrake's config needs updating as regards wireless cards, and someone else has pointed out that orinoco_cs needs to be in the list of network drivers during install. I was just pointing out for the original poster's benefit that the wireless.opts file is entirely irrelevant to Mandrake. -- adamw
