And Frank Griffin pointed out how to use the orinoco_cs driver. That's
good info if it works for you, but for me the orinoco_cs driver
doesn't work quite as well as the recommended linux-wlan-ng drivers.
(My cards are not Linksys or Netgear, but related: Gigafast and USR,
both based on the Intersil chipset.)
For the record, the linux-wlan-ng driver actually *is* included in the
9.0 kernels (as prism2_cs, prism2_plx, and prism2_pci), but the
configuration tools are missing, and drakconnect doesn't know what to
do with these drivers. [I last checked beta4, rc2 is downloading now]
I'm working on it in my spare time, which seems to be about never
these days. Meanwhile just wanted to let you know the status of the
drivers you asked about vs. Mandrake.
