It's not unstable. That release went through alpha and beta stage, and 
is considered stable.
Mozilla 1.0.x is a frozen release (mainly interfaces) for their 
customers that build upon it.

If you talk about unstable release, talk about Mozilla 1.2alpha or 
nightly builds.
