Dear Florin,
The drake tools are really simple and straighforward
to use.
When you mention it works for you, i'm interested in
knowing how it works for you because for me it doesn't
work.To recap here is the procedure to simulate my
problem....
I install Mandrake9.0 rc2 from CD. While installing my
network cards are configured.Since i'm using
cablemodem eth0 IP is based on DHCP and eth1 is
static.
After installation i boot into my OS, i can connect to
Internet. Now i start Internet Connection sharing to
share my connection.(Florin here i'm not following
your instruction because my internet is already up,
you see and this how any user will work!!!).
Once i complete the internet connection sharing, i see
that even i cannot browse. Now i disable the firewall
totally and now i can browse. I goto my client and
find that it is getting IP, can do nslookup, ping my
m/c connected to internet, but cannot ping/browse any
internet sites.
I've already sent you the output as requested. Pls.
