good idea, but how to tell bugreports apart from other things

like Guido posted a problem with gcc3.2 and didn't get much attention.
He was mighty pissed about the problem (not the attention ;) and will
probably exclude at least mdk's gcc from his list of valid compilers for
his projects. He's not bashing mandrake as he still doesn't know where
the fault originated but a mail along "we'll look into that, need more
info, etc" would certainly have eased his mind.

Anyway, cooker drowns in support questions and useless policy
discussions like for proprietary drivers. Though, admittedly, one cannot
be sure whether a prob qualifies as bug or support-problem, see my
problem with Mach64 cards.

my personal experience with the few small probs I've found was
excellent, everything was fixed pretty fast.
