Make a  filter  that  reacts  on  the  word  remove  &&  mailinglist  or
unsubscribe in either the body or the header and don't let them pass  to
the list; send them an autoresponse that  explains  how  to  unsubscribe
instead.

Should not be so hard and saves a lot troubles.
