Your argument is invalid. You claim that just because what someone says
is not true for 'some' (or 'your') mirror, it is not true at all. That
is simply not the case.

(Note, I have a similar problem where the sunet and rpmfind mirrors (at least) of 9.0 still show 'Cooker' in the mandrake-release files, at this point someone says that this isn't true because *some* mirrors have 'Dolphin'. Still, this didn't say anything about the mirrors I had been to, so it evaded the question at hand.)

Not only could you check other mirrors (even I don't know which mirrors
are truly 'primary'), but the CHRPM list clearly lists the current
version as KDE version as 3.1.

kdebase-3.1-0.beta2.3mdk

looks like the current version.

I didn't want to even get involved. The more fuel I (or anyone else) adds to your flames, perhaps the more encouraged you'll be, but just in case you think you're actually doing us a favor, maybe you want to sit and ponder that a little, and above all, learn to accept your mistakes and to admit when you are wrong.

At worst it could make you a better person.
