These problems come from the lesstif build.  They were also seen with ddd.
I thought nedit had been rebuilt also, but looking at the changelogs, it
doesn't look like it was rebuilt after the lesstif fix.  

You could try rebuilding from the SRPM, and if I don't hear back, I'll do
that on Monday and take a look.  If that's the fix, I'll ask vdanen if we
can get it into the 9.0 updates.
