It would appear that nedit and newer lesstif just don't like to play together. I tried several iterations of builds, but rolling back to the older lesstif and rebuilding it and then nedit against it on a 9.0 platform seems to make at least 2 of the report issues go away (non-responsive secondary window, segfault on splitting window). http://people.mandrakesoft.com/~sbenedict lesstif-0.93.18-3.1mdk.i586.rpm lesstif-clients-0.93.18-3.1mdk.i586.rpm lesstif-devel-0.93.18-3.1mdk.i586.rpm lesstif-mwm-0.93.18-3.1mdk.i586.rpm nedit-5.3-1.1mdk.i586.rpm If anyone want's to try them. This then leaves the issue of other lesstif based programs, which use the new lesstif. (ddd for one). Stew Benedict
