Everybody, or at least, a lot of people here are using Cooker.

Is there really a big differences between using cooker updated on a very
frequent basis, and upgrading the packages on each new version of the
distribution ?
I mean, can I use urpmi in the same way as debian use apt-get upgrade ?

And if not, why ?

After all, upgrading cooker and upgrading a stable version is the same
process, there is only more packages for upgrading a stable version.

Maybe I should try before asking, but, no one ever talked about this
possibility.
With urpmi sources configured to point on , for example,
ftp.free.fr/mirrors/ftp.mandrake-linux.com/Mandrake/current , I can't see why
this should not work.
