I tried with kppp and gnome-connect (the gnome equivalent, not really sure of the name), and if i use them as a normal user, the connection launches, and just after the connection up, i get 'pppd daemon did unexpectedly with error x', the error number is not always the same.
When i do it as root, no problem, the connection is perfectly stable.
