Thanks a lot Todd ... I had the tty group, and now my connection stays up all the time. One question : isn't it supposed to be added automatically, as i defined the ppp connection during the installation process. I made an expert installation, it is may be coming from there ... (OK, i could have found the tty problem by myself ..) Stef
