Cool.  At least one person (from Mandrake even!) agrees.  :-)  I am
willing to do the work again, if I can get buy in that it will at
least be seriously considered.  The commitment that it takes (from
Mandrake) is acceptance that this would require another kernel (a
userspace kernel) and modules on the install media.

I understand space is at a premium on the install media, but I (IMHO)
think it is worth it.

What do you say Mandrake?
