        OS/Version: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED

          Priority: P2
        AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I have HP200e DVD+RW connected through IEEE1394 port. It is well recognised so I
can access it through /dev/scd1. But when I start playing an audio CD in it with KsCD,
no sound comes from the speakers. I searched the web and found that the module
amdtp is responsible for streaming the audio through IEEE1394 to the soundcard, and I
see that it is not loaded. Manually inserting it gives:
[root@oka /]# insmod amdtp
Using /lib/modules/2.4.21pre4-6mdk/kernel/drivers/ieee1394/amdtp.o.gz
/lib/modules/2.4.21pre4-6mdk/kernel/drivers/ieee1394/amdtp.o.gz: unresolved symbol

/lib/modules/2.4.21pre4-6mdk/kernel/drivers/ieee1394/amdtp.o.gz: unresolved symbol
