As long as it means I can type in the value (and not click the up/down

How about ISP config if a modem is detected? I can probably get a list of
all ISPs and all their POPs for South Africa in under 2 days, user would
select ISP and city, and fill in username/pass - so how
extensive were you meaning ;-) (I take it not *this* extensive).

Otherwise, how about hacking auth config out so it is usable after
install?
