Yep.

Started XMMS and no sound. Changed the plug-in to alsa and it crashed 
(disappeared without a trace). Then went to arts and it plays, also with OSS 
plug-in. The sound wasn't working in noatun either. Card is Creative 
SoundBlaster Live! Value CT-4830 Digital out OEM, Altec Lansing speakers.

I also have a ton of  other things to complain about with the latest cooker 
(new hard drive install about 2 hours ago) but that's another topic for a bug 
report. 

As soon as I figure out what the hell is happening.
