We could just use OpenFT/giFT which has the advantages of being Free
Software (although at its current state, they discourage binary
distribution).  Using it as a means of updating software may also provide
Mandrake with enough plausible deniability to allow distribution of OpenFT
in the main distro, though IANAL.
