Subject: [CnD] cranberry mousse very easy

I have made this for 30 years every Thanksgiving and it is loved by all.
the nice thing is that it can be made way ahead of time
Cranberry mousse

1 cup cranberry juice cocktail

1 3 ounce raspberry or cranberry jello

1 16 ounce can jellied cranberry sauce

1 cup heavy cream

Bring juice and cranberry sauce to boil smashing jelled cranberries with
fork or potato masher to help dissolve. (I have also used food processor
then put into pot)add jello and dissolve.

Let cool completely at room temperature.

Whip the cream, do not add any sugar

fold cooled mixture into whipped cream.

put into pretty bowl and refrigerate overnight. This can be made even a
week ahead of time.

I have also put it into a jello mold. I believe it is a pretty pink color.

Recipe:

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass; It's about learning to dance
in the rain.
