Is light cool whip lower on sugar as well as on fat, than the regular cool whip?

The whipped cream in the recipe is not sugared because of the geletin. I have always used whipping cream. But anything is worth a try. After all, the cranberry juice and jelled cranberry sauce is not very sweet. If you make it using the cool whip let me know how it turns out. (I have also used food processor then put into pot)add jello and dissolve. Let cool completely at room temperature. Whip the cream, do not add any sugar fold cooled mixture into whipped cream. put into pretty bowl and refrigerate overnight. This can be made even a week ahead of time.
