I also have known folks to wash the plastic that bacon sits on and reuse for
frozen foods.

Subject: [CnD] Freezer labeling ideas
One idea someone put up here about a year ago is to save those little
plastic cards from the mozzarella packages and Braille on them.
To expand on that idea, how about cutting up pieces of plastic bottles,
soda
bottles or milk bottles, or even the waxed orange juice cartons and
brailling on them.
Then one could rubber band them to an item. Once it is frozen, open up
the
package and stick the Brailled card inside the package so they don't get
separated later on by a broken rubber band.

Today November 10 is:U S Marine Corps Day!
USMC Day celebrates the birth of the United States Marine Corps. The
Marine
Corps was created during the Revolutionary War.
The Continental Congress of the newly created United States of America,
authorized the creation of the Continental Marines on November 10, 1775.
It
was later renamed the U.S. Marine Corps. It is often abbreviated as USMC.
The Marine Corps has proudly participated in every war that has involved
the
United States.
If you see a Marine today, thank him or her for his or her contributions
to
protecting our country. Active or retired, Marines deserve our thanks and
appreciation
