Those are not number buttons. My old microwave had number buttons, I could use them to, for example, set the clock. Or if I needed to cook something for 3 and a half minutes, I would press 3, 3 and 0. The buttons on Cook Magic are not used for digit entries. They are express cook buttons, preprogrammed entries if you want to cook something for 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 minutes.
