Caramel Chocolate Cookie Bars

1 package chocolate cake mix
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 (14 oz) package, 50 caramels
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1 cup chopped nuts

In a saucepan, add in the caramels and 1/2 cup of evaporated milk. Melt them
together then set aside. Take a 9 x 13 inch pan then grease and flour it. In a
large bowl, add in the butter, dry cake mix, nuts and 1/3 cup of evaporated
milk. Combine and mix well. Keep stirring until the dough holds together.

Press 3/4 of the dough into the pan and be sure to reserve 1/4 of the dough for
later use. Bake it for 6 minutes at 350°F (176°C) then sprinkle the top with
chocolate chips. After that, spread the caramel mixture over it and crumble the
remaining dough earlier over the top. Bake for another 18 minutes then let it
cool down for a while. After that, refrigerate for 30 minutes then cut it into
36 bars.

Serve or keep them well in the refrigerator.
