Pecan Chocolate Cookie 

2 3/4 cups flour 
1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda 
1 (12 oz) package semi-sweet chocolate morsels 
1 teaspoon vanilla extract 
1 1/2 cups butter, softened 
1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar, firmly packed 
1 cup pecans, chopped 
1 teaspoon salt 
2 eggs 

First, preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, add in the flour, salt and baking soda.In another bowl, add 
in the butter and brown sugar. Combine and mix well then beat the mixture until 
creamy.

Add in the vanilla extract and eggs then beat them until they are light and 
fluffy. Now, slowly and gradually add in the flour so that they blend in well 
into the mixture. After that, stir in the morsels and pecans. Drop the mixture 
onto the ungreased cookie sheets by well rounded tablespoon and bake them for 
12 minutes at 375°F (190°C).

Let the cookies stand for 3 minutes before removing them from the cookie 
sheets. After that let them cool down a bit before serving.
