There are two ways to make chicken seem like fried.

In blasted chicken, you bake a whole chicken in a hot 450 oven for
forty-five minutes. Turn off oven and let the chicken stand for ten
minutes. Before cooking, season the bird with salt and pepper, or spices of
your choice before cooking. The bird should be at room temperature and the
oven pre-heated.

The other way is to coat chicken pieces with some kind of bread mixture.
Then cook them in moderately hot oven for about forty-five minutes. You can
use corn flakes, stale bread seasoned with your favorites, or a prepared mix
like shake and bake. Most recipes call for dipping each piece in a beaten
egg mixture before dipping, or shaking in the coating mix.
