Chasity, processed foods are generally high in sodium, but if you have sighted assistance to read labels, you can find low sodium products, such as broth, canned tomatoes and vegetables. I think, though that you are better off using frozen vegetables because they are not packed in salted liquid. You're better off making things from scratch and using herbs to give flavor to foods. A good thing to do when cooking pasta, is to add a little lemon juice to the water and omit the salt. The lemon gives a little zing to the pasta-very tasty. Be careful of condiments, such as pickles and mustard, relishes, etc. as they are high in sodium.
