The less you cook corn on the cob, the better. Ideally, you plant it in
your back yard. When it's ready, start the water boiling. When it's just
simmering, go get the corn you want to have that day. Drop it in the water,
and simmer for about a minute. Almost immediately, the sugar starts turning
to starch and it's mealy and not sweet. So, thaw your frozen corn. Then
simmer it in just under boiling water for a minute. I'm not sure how you
duplicate that in a microwave. My guess is, you use about 50% power until
the corn is just hot enough.

Subject: [CnD] Question about cooking corn

I have a bag of frozen corn on the cob, half ear-sized each. Does anyone
else use them and if so, what's the best way to fix them in the microwave?

Blessings,

Judie
