A crockpot is just one of many brands of slow cookers. A slow cooker is used
for cooking certain food longer than with other cooking methods. A pressure
cooker, however, has the opposite effect. It cooks foods under high pressure
faster than other methods would.

Subject: [CnD] a couple of questions

Hi all,

I'm hoping someone can help me out here:

1. What is the difference between a Crockpot, slow cooker, and a pressure
cooker?

2. Does anyone have some recipes for the pressure cooker? I just got one
and am not sure what I can safely make in it.

My mom had one when I was a kid and I remember that she uncovered it and
some chicken parts went flying.

Thanks for your help.

Maria
