yeah, I just listened to a pod cast telling all about ramps, I had never
heard of them. go to google, type in n p r podcast directory and look for
earth eats podcast. It was very interesting, I was wondering where I could
find some. Let us know how you come out. There was a recipe for pickling
them, making a pesto out of them and wrapping them around cod fish and
cooking them.

Have any of you ever cooked ramps? I got a bagful from my green grocer.
I ordered them, but I thought they were something they are not. I knew
that they are an early spring veggie, but I had them mixed up with some
kind of early spring mushroom. Mushrooms they are not! They taste like a
very garlicky green onion!
Any ideas about recipes or how to cook them?
