You could put bread in the freezer and when you are ready to make stuffing, you could put the bread in the toaster and let it sit and then make the crumbs.

Subject: [CnD] Making bread crumbs for stuffing (dressing) or anything requiring bread crumbs

Hello there. I know that some people make homeaid bread crumbs using crusts
of bread. I was wondering what method I need to do to prepair bread that I
can freze and when needed make the bread crumbs for meat loaf or stuffing
(dressing) for Turkey. Last thanksgiving I bought French bread and used
that to make the stuffing but was wondering how I could take regular bread
and make bread crumbs? I hope everyone south of us Canadians had a wonderful
thanksgiving and didn't eat too much. Turkey sandwitches are amazing.
