I was thinking the same thing. I have breakfast casserole recipes that I'd
use in the oven, but not scrambling, as I tend to prefer fairly broken up
eggs.

If I needed to make them for a large group I'd use a good sized pot, like my
5 quart pot or possibly even one of my stockpots. If I needed even more than
that I'd get down my big turkey roasting pan and cook them across two stove
burners in that. The advantage of that is that you can also use a wire
whisk, which is, according to the book 100 Things Everyone Should Know How
to Do, the best way to move eggs about when scrambling them. (I use
non-stick pots and pans normally, and haven't located a good coated whisk
for use in them)

Besides, if I'm entertaining a lot of guests in my home I want the oven
clear for biscuits or muffins or the like, so I'd tend to make eggs on the
stove top instead.

How many people are you thinking to serve? There are some oven things that
turn out more like keeshes or casseroles. Scrambled eggs, to me need to be
stirred. So my thought would be that you might want to consider other
alternatives. (smile)

  Hi all,

I was wondering if it is possible to make a large amount of scrambled eggs
in the oven. My reasoning for this would be to save time if you have a
number of people for breakfast. And if so, what would be the best method.

  All suggestions would be appreciated.

  Maria
