I like baking eggs in tomato or green pepper halves. You cut the tomato in half, scoop out the middle, and bake the tomato for about seven minutes. Then crack an egg in it and bake for another eight minutes at 350. The time depends on how soft or hard you like the egg. Before putting the egg in the tomato, you can add salt and pepper, olive oil, grated cheese or spices. If you keep your tomatoes in the refrigerator, and I hope you don't, add about two minutes to the first cooking time.
