Hi, i'm new to the list. My favorite way to do taters on the grill
was to cut the tatrts width wise into 4 chunks. between each layer,
I'd insert a pat (or more) of butter, and some onion. Also season
with salt pepper and a touch of garlic powder. Wrap in foil and put
on a cooler area of the grill (top shelf if you have one). Cook until
done around 30 - 45 mins.

I]ve not been able to tell the difference between the oven and grill.
I would imagine there would be a major difference if smoke was used.
