[CnD] wondered if anyone has cooked with coconut oil before

Hi my name is Malaina.  I just joined the list about a week ago 
and I have been going back and listening to episodes of Cooking 
in the Dark.  I was just interested if anyone has cooked with 
coconut oil in place of other oils such as vegetable or olive.  I 
have read a lot on coconut oil but I haven't cooked really with 
it.  I have used it in place of butter on english muffins with a 
peanut butter.  It is really good that way.  I have also used it 
on my popcorn in place of butter.  When I don't burn the popcorn 
it tastes like what you get at the movies.
