Hi, all. I'm looking for a recipe for oyster dressing made in the slow cooker. My mom loves it, but doesn't cook it because no one in our family likes it except for her, so I'm wanting to surprise her this Thanksgiving. She usually uses the canned oyster stew rather than fresh oysters. many of the recipes for dressing in the slow cooker include cream of chicken soup or chicken broth along with the fresh oysters, but I'm thinking I could get away with using the canned oyster stew and eliminate at least one can of the chicken broth.
Also, this is dressing and not stuffing, so it's prepared completely outside of the turkey. Any help would be appreciated.
