Does the platter sit on rollers when in the microwave? Maybe there is something under them that causes it to be off center? You might try taking the set of rollers out and check. If there isn't anything else wrong, it would be a shame to have to get a new one because of something that could be minor. Just a thought.

Subject: [CnD] new microwaves

Hello,
we have been having problems with our microwave. when ever you take the plate out to clean it and go to put it back in it is hard to get back in. I am talking about the plate that goes around. I once had a sharp and it wasn't any problem to work with but this Panasonic is a challenge. when the plate is in the microwave it seems to shift slightly from side to side. and if you set a bowl on it it does not stay in the middle and has an effect on things you are cooking. I make microwave fudge and I have had several batches that don't come out like they should. so My wife and I are in the market for a new microwave and would be interested in any that people find that work well and is easy to operate.
Thank you in advance for your suggestions.
