Tropical Trifle

Ingredients

1 orange cake mix, made according to package directions

1 can crushed pineapple, about 16 ounces, drained

1 can 16 ounces mandarin oranges, drained

2 large boxes cook and serve vanilla pudding, prepare by using half as much milk

as directions ask for

8 oz cream cheese, cut into chunks and stir into hot pudding until dissolved

1 large container Kool Whip, thawed

Directions;

1. Break enough cake into bite sized pieces to cover the bottom of a trifle 
bowl.

2. Make a layer by using half of the pineapple and the oranges on top of the 
cake.

3. Spread half of the pudding mixture over the fruit, press down slightly.

4. Make a layer of Kool Whip.

5. Repeat these four layers.

6. Decorate the top with Maraschino Cherries.

7. Cover with foil and refrigerate. Use tooth picks to hold foil away from the 
top.

You could keep the fruit juice to use for another recipe.
