You can add more spices, like basil and oregano and chopped, or minced
garlic, and perhaps to stretch it a bit, 1 or 2 cans of tomato puree to
thicken it up a bit. You might fry some Italian sausage, and throw in some
of the drippings for flavor, and simmer the sausage in the sauce. One of the
best, most flavorful sauces I found, besides Prego or Mama Cozy from Aldi's,
is Del Monti pasta sauce in a can with meat!
