One Step Lasagna without Cooking Noodles 1-1/2 cups water 2 15.5 ounce jars Prego spaghetti sauce 1 16 ounce box lasagna noodles 1 15 ounce container Ricotta cheese, beaten with 1 or 2 eggs 8 ounces Mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Combine water with pasta sauce, and then take one and a half cups of this mixture and pour it all over the bottom of a 9 by 13 inch pan. Arrange a layer of uncooked noodles, slightly overlapping, on top of the sauce. Spread on half the Ricotta, half the Mozzarella, and sprinkle with 2 Tablespoons Parmesan cheese. Add another layer of sauce, and then repeat with the noodles, rest of Ricotta, Mozzarella and 2 Tablespoons Parmesan cheese. Top with a layer of noodles. Pour remaining sauce over, spreading evenly to cover edges of noodles. Sprinkle with one fourth cup Parmesan cheese. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for one hour at 350 degrees F. Let stand ten minutes before cutting. This is a tried and true recipe that I make every Christmas.

Anyone tried it? I know for myself if any noodles are cooked too long on the stove they become pasty because of the starch in them. If I accidentally don't cook them long enough i.e. I'm in a hurry, they are chewy. -- Email services provided by the System Access Mobile Network.
