I know that some recipes call for 20 large marshmallows or 1 7-ounce jar of cream. HTH.

Hi,
I appreciate these equivalents and find them interesting as well as helpful. However, for a jar of marshmallow cream, how would that substitution work? I
realize there are 7 and 9-ounce jars. How many mini or large marshmallows
would a jar of cream equal?
Thanks in advance,

There are 40 large mellos in a bag that weights the same as one pkg of small
mellows. So in either case one bag is one bag

I thought of that, but I don't have a kitchen scale to weigh them.

It's honestly not a big deal, I just wanted to make rice krispy treats, but
I only have large mallows, not minis. The recipe I have calls for 1 bag of
minis.

If you have a way, weigh them. That way, if the recipe calls for a bag of
small ones, make the weight of the large ones the same.

The fudge recipe that has been in our family for years calls for 20 large,
or 100 small marshmallows. Based on that, the ratio would be 5 small
equals 1 large. I don't know, though, how many are in a package of large
ones. HTH.

Does anyone know approximately how many large marshmallows I would
substitute for a package of mini marshmallows?
