Hi, sorry about the soggy mess.
This is just a suggestion, but I'm not sure if it will work for this
particular recipe.
When I make cheese cake I usually make the crust first. I crush a package of
Graham Crackers and add half a stick of butter and 2 tbsp of brown sugar.
Then I mix the ingredients with my hands and press the crust onto a pie pan.
I bake it for about 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
After that just poor the filling on top of the crust and bake it acordings
to the directions that the recipe gives you.
Hope this works for you.,
Sincerely,
Rebeca

Hi Folks, I tried this recipe and it was a soggy mess.
What do you think is wrong with it's ingredients?
Woolworth's Cheesecake
1 (3 ounce) package lemon Jell-O
1 cup boiling water
8 ounces cream cheese
1 cup granulated sugar
5 tablespoons lemon juice
1 can Carnation milk, well chilled
Graham crackers, crushed
Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water. Cool until slightly thickened. Beat
cream cheese, sugar and lemon juice with mixer until smooth. Add
thickened Jell-O and beat well. In a separate bowl, beat the Carnation
milk until fluffy. Add cream cheese/Jell-O mixture and beat well with
mixer. Line bottom of 9 x 13-pan with crushed Graham crackers. Spread
filling over and top with more crushed Graham crackers. Chill.
