Mine is the one with the 3 buttons. Now, at times, when it starts malfunctioning, I must really watch when I press the button for how much water I want it to brew. I can press the larger amount, and it might give me just a few drops, or press the smallest amount, and it will keep filling, almost to the point of overflowing, so I usually stand by it and watch very! Carefully, and if it is about to overflow, I turn it off quickly; after all, the water is already nice and hot.
