First I make a Rub of Salt, Pepper, Garlic pouter, and rub it in to the meat. Then I let them sit in the refrigerator for a few hours. Then put them in a Roasting pan or some kind of flat pan. Set the Oven to 250 degrees and put the Ribs in there for about 2 pounds per hour. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Charles Rivard" <[email protected]>

Subject: [CnD] ribs in the oven

I have a big rack of pork spare ribs that I would like to cook using the conventional oven. The weight is roughly 10 pounds. I'm looking for a recipe and tips, not! from! the! Internet!, but something that you, as a blind cook, have done. I'm looking for personal, first-hand experience. I am looking for something very easy to do. Temperature setting, cooking time, spicing tips, all that sort of stuff. I would prefer not to have to use the broiler, because I'm not sure if it works. The simpler the recipe, the better. Thanks in advance.
