I have to admit, I've never used Curry powder. I'll have to ask hubby if he
has, but I know we haven't purchased any together. What kind of spice is it?
I mean is it sort of a sweet one or a Smokey one? Oh, I can't think of the
word. I don't like spices that are like nut meg or Tumerik. Probably spelled
that one wrong! Lol.

Subject: [CnD] Pork Loin recipe ideas.

Hi,

I sometimes make a curry with leftover pork loin. I don't use a recipe as
such, but here is what I do.

Start with a chopped onion, a little olive oil, some garlic. Sauté these
until tender. Add some curry powder. Dissolve some flour in chicken broth,
or a combination of milk and chicken broth, depending on how rich a sauce
you want. Add this to the onions and then add some cubed meat. You can
also do this with chicken. Simmer gently for about fifteen minutes while
you cook rice. Serve curry over rice with desired accompaniments and
vegetables. It's warm and yummy. If you want to add some chopped fresh
ginger to this dish you can do that too.

Happy cooking!
Alice
