Probably the pans should have been greased and floured, not just greased! I
would have waited about 20 minutes and then loosened it all around the
edges, and removed from the pans. I  prefer using the Baker's Joy, which is
shortening and flour mixed. Does a wonderful job on the pans. Could your
pans be too old, scratched, and you need newer, nonstick ones?
