Hi all,

I'm preparing a pasta dish as a surprise for my husband. THe sauce requires 
browning some ground beef. I've usually always had the help of someone sighted 
to tell me when the meat is brown. I read somewhere that  when meat cooks, it 
is firm and crumbly when it is browned. Is this true? Is there a certain amount 
of time I need to brown the meat for? Thank you for any assistance you can
