Hello,
I am not sure about this but today I was making bread. and the flour had lumps in it. the flour was bread flour. I decided not to use it and used all purpose flour instead because that was the last of the bread flour. I was wondering if when the flour has lumps in it does that mean it is time to replace it?

instead of water, I used orange juice. I have done this before. I also put a fourth tsp of orange zest in it. This gives it a slight orange taste but does not over power it. with the sugar in the orange juice I think it helps activate the yeast. mabey I am wrong about activating the yeast but I have had success in the past with it. now that I have said that, It probably won't work this time.
Thanks in advance.
